'Cosmos & Clover' is a symmetrical, large scale repeat but with lots delicate details. I started with the Cosmos flower and quatrefoil drawings I made based on clover, with the original intention of calling the fabric 'Lucky Stars', the four-leafed clover being lucky and Cosmos being about stars. But somehow, two birds joined in and Cosmos and Clover seemed to suit them as names.

'Flower Folk' was simple in inspiration; floral, and folky! Poppies and marigolds dance along the fabric in stripes, with plenty of evidence of the original lino blocks left in, creating movement and interest.

'Croome' is inspired by the Capability Brown landscaped parkland of the National Trust property by the same name, in Worcestershire. A river winds round large ancient trees, inspiring the simple repeat lino block behind this fabric.
