These pressed flower plates and dishes are inspired by, and capture nature, quite literarily. I press individual flowers into discs of stoneware clay. I then release the flowers and hand paint the void with shades of pink underglazes followed by a transparent glaze. They are hand sized to give an organic natural feel. They can be stacked for storage and display and add a pretty layer of detail to your natural table setting, and table-scape. They can be wall mounted, used as a saucer below a jam jar, used to serve pretty cakes, used as a jewellery plate on your bedside or used as a soap dish too.
These dishes are made by hand, in small batches, by me at my studio in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire.

this item is food safe and dishwasher safe though hand washing is preferable
each item varies slightly as the clay is hand shaped, hand glazed and kiln fired at high temperatures
